Flower Mound High School – Home of the Jaguars

School. Probably the place where I will spend the most time of my exchange year. My school in the USA is called Flower Mound High School. The almost 3000 pupils are called the “Jaguars” which is the school mascot at the same time. 3000 pupils is a pretty high amount for a school for German conditions. Flower Mound High School is one of the five High Schools in the Lewisville Independent School District. At German schools one almost can’t find any school teams in any sports but in the USA there are teams for every sport that is kind of popular around the world. For me as a passionate soccer player it’s impressive to see that the Flower Mound High School soccer team won the state championship in the year 2018/2019.
