Hey y’all. It’s been a minute since I last posted on here but the Flower Mound soccer season is almost over and I thought I could write about the sport that’s been a part of my life since forever. I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old. Being on an American High School soccer team is a really exciting and interesting experience. Along with getting to know new people, I learned new ways of practicing, new tactics to play with and I played a new position I didn’t play before I came here. The season started at the end of January with the first game against Lewisville High School. The team put up a fight but in the end we lost unluckily. After that game we played every Tuesday and every Friday against the other schools in our district. Our overall record was 1-4-8 which is definitely not the result the whole team hoped finish with but we played our best every single game and put up a fight against the other schools. Every game and all the practices were a lot of fun and very competitive. During this season I learned a lot of new things and got to know so many awesome and funny players, that made my time on the team more than enjoyable and I’m really going to miss it.
